I was seen for a follow up appointment following a mammogram. Mr Smith was direct, confident and provided lots of information, taking care and time to make sure I understood the detail. From my first appointment I knew Simon was the surgeon I wanted to do my bilateral breast reduction. He made me feel valued and confident, he listened to my issues and explained what he would do. Had my surgery yesterday, 29th September, my expectation has been exceeded! Simon is brilliant! And amazingly I am totally pain free. Simon has changed my life. If you’re thinking about it….. do it, you won’t regret it.

My first contact with Mr Smith was a telephone consultation and from the outset I was impressed by his caring manner and the feeling that I mattered. In the period until I had my operation I had deteriorated to the extent that my life was basically non existent. A head that was numb as if it was filled with cotton wool. Aching bones and muscles. Severe memory loss. Confusion and irritability. Sleeping 20 hours a day. Mr Smith had assured me that my problem was not age related, dementia etc but I was not convinced, however within days of Mr Smith carrying out my Parathyroidectomy it was as if someone had flicked a switch and turned on my life again. I am so grateful to Mr Smith and his fantastic team at Broomfield Hospital because as a previously fit, healthy and active 69 year old I am absolutely sure that my life has been given back to me. Mr Simon Smith is a credit to his profession and an extremely nice man. Many many thanks Mike Kinsella

I love this surgeon! He totally transformed my life and gave me a massive amount of confidence I didn’t have before. After breastfeeding, I lost a lot of volume in my breasts. Mr. Smith was the only doctor that I had spoken to that was able to give me an augmentation within the need of a lift, despite having a lot of saggy skin (I still wanted to breastfeed). It’s been 5 years now and I’m still so happy with the outcome. I often receive compliments from friends on how natural they look. Thank you once again!
